Goodbye PartyPoker, Hello TONYBET!

by Tony G on March 15, 2013

The time has come to take a massive step in a new direction. Towards the future of the gambling market. This future is called TonyBet.com and I am a part of it.

After a huge three years I have parted ways with my player deal at PartyPoker.com to follow my own interests – I am no longer sponsored by them to play poker. I want to thank with all my heart the people involved in making that sponsorship a big success – you know who you are. [click to continue…]

I’m on my way to the PartyPoker Premier League in London after I leave Austria. I’m in the mountains now, getting fit to go wage a full attack on the ‘Elite Group’ at the Premier League VI. So far the line-up looks extremely juicy: Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Negreanu, Antonio Esfandiari, Jennifer Tilly, Phil Laak, Dan “Jungleman” Cates, Scott Seiver, Marvin Rettenmaier, Dan Shak, and Luke Schwartz. Come on little fishies, swim, swim, swim. [click to continue…]

Back in action with Leon

by Tony G on February 27, 2013

I went back to King’s Casino to play more Pot Limit Omaha with Leon Tsoukernik – owner of Kings and my friend. A little over a week ago when I left Leon, he was swimming in his lake to get in shape for my next massive action attack on his chip stronghold. If you read my last blog post, you know that I managed to slide out on thin ice, grab the chips, and make it back to the jet that was waiting to take off – and do it with a profit after being buried under a glacier. One game leads to another

by Tony G on February 18, 2013

My last three-day trip to Kings Club, the best casino in Europe, has popped into my thoughts in sketches and replays. I wanted to add something to my last blog post just to keep the juices flowing and keep the fire to compete at the table burning hot in my own mind. Poker is like any other sport, take a long break and you get rusty, get rusty and you get busted, and I refuse to go there. [click to continue…]

Game Report – Donkey Gets Away

by Tony G on February 17, 2013

Yes, the head donkey that has a resort and a dog that can smell out a poker rat at the bottom of the ocean just finished up playing in the King’s Casino Rozvadov poker room. The resort is Tony Resort and the dog is Nordas, guess who the donkey is. Who can live without their dog and a resort to keep him in? Even donkeys need a retreat and a dog that doesn’t know their master is a donkey. [click to continue…]

Off to King’s Casino Rozvadov and an inside tip

by Tony G on February 14, 2013

It’s been awhile, I’ve been a very, very, very busy person. But it’s time to catch up. I’m on my way to King’s Casino Rozvadov on the Bavarian/Czech border tonight. It’s all about the game, there’s an exceptional high roller cash game going on and that’s what gets my juices flowing and kicks up the excitement in The G. Nordas drools in front of a freshly cooked Tony G steak but he can’t compare to the salivating I’m capable of when I know there’s big cash action and the potential to play heads-up. I’m going to stay a few days, maybe longer, feast on great food, play high-stakes cash games, and watch my bets on Real Madrid come home tonight. [click to continue…]

When I first arrived in the Olympic Village in London, I was so tired I couldn’t put 2+2 together and get a Forum so it was time to sleep. I marched in the opening ceremony with Lithuania as the Lithuanian Olympic attaché and also the basketball team manager for Lithuania. I can’t describe that, being there, feeling it, living it, it was a dream and it came true. [click to continue…]

Prague and the $25K High Roller

by Tony G on May 7, 2012

Today will find me leaving Lithuania for Prague. I’m on my way to the Kings Casino to play the $25K High Roller. There are plans for a streaming live cash game and that is one of my favorites in poker. [click to continue…]

Monte Carlo – The Super High Roller!

by Tony G on April 25, 2012

I got rolled out of the €100,000 Super High Roller at the 2012 PokerStars and Monte-Carlo Casino EPT Grand Final. I made it to day 2 and was in 10th place in the chip counts with 442,000. It was a great turn out with over 40 players and some rebuys. [click to continue…]

PLO in Vienna

by Tony G on April 16, 2012

I am in Vienna playing PLO games. The action is great and I’ve been playing well and winning. I love PLO. When I am finished tormenting and punishing everyone I meet at the poker tables here, I will go to Croatia for a week and play tennis. [click to continue…]
