Ladbrokes Millions and More

The online journal of Tony G. Professional poker player

I’ve been in Lithuania with family and friends after the PartyPoker Millions and poker in a steady run.

I had planned to play the Ladbrokes Millions and even though planning it should prepare me for the game, it really didn’t. I’ve never played worse. I played tight and weak, for me that’s a very bad sign that I am just not in the game. It was an 8 player sit and go and three players would be going to the final and taking their chips with them. I really needed to just go for it and gamble. I was trying to be solid which is not me or how I normally approach the game. The winner of the whole event is the one that busted me out, well done to Marty Smyth and he is one million richer now. He busted me with A-K and I had A-Q. It’s a great tournament and I played it last year also.

I am in Thailand right now taking a three week vacation.

I’m looking forward to relaxing before I go back to Australia for the Aussie Millions. I’m now part of Chipmeup which is a site that allows people to take a piece of players in tournaments. You can take a piece of me in the main event in the Aussie Millions if you’d like. I have a feeling I am going to do very well in the Aussie Millions. I will be back on home ground when I’m playing in it and I really enjoy the whole tournament format, meeting the players, and the competition. I plan on being very on top of my game when I am there. No more weak tight as I look for my bike on the way out.

Happy Holidays everyone!
