The time has come to take a massive step in a new direction. Towards the future of the gambling market. This future is called TonyBet.com and I am a part of it.

After a huge three years I have parted ways with my player deal at PartyPoker.com to follow my own interests – I am no longer sponsored by them to play poker. I want to thank with all my heart the people involved in making that sponsorship a big success – you know who you are.

Tony G Nr. 1

From now on 24 hours per day, 7days a week, 365 days per year my only focus will be TonyBet.com. This is very exciting. Lots of you know that sports betting is a big passion of mine and we’ll always aim to please you with the best prices.

Everyone is qualified and everyone is a winner at TonyBet.com! If the prices aren’t good enough for you give me some talk and tell me why not. Check out TonyBet.com and let me know what you think.

We are still very much in the early stages – we have huge plans. Come and beat me – come and take everything I have! I want to bet on the sun coming up in the morning but I have a clever team behind me who are trying to rein me in at the moment. We’ll see how clever they are!

Sports betting is a big part of the offer but that’s not all! Hundreds of nicest and the most beautiful girls have started working as dealers at the healthiest place in the world – TonyBet.com live casino! Uhhh, boys and girls, you must try it. The TonyBet.com Casino is the best online casino in the world giving away hundreds of thousands of dollars everyday.

We are fully licensed and now is the time for me to start representing the firm in big events. It starts this weekend with the Premier League VI – I am the only player who has played every single edition of the event and I am primed to win. I think it is my year and so does my faithful protector Nordas – we’re on to a winner. Tony G is No.1!

I am looking forward to smashing Hellmuth in the Premier League – I am going to call the clock on him, I will destroy him – I am drooling already – I hope he doesn’t pull out when he knows I am waiting for him with a big knife and fork. I was disturbed to hear that Jungleman is in. Thank God he’s not on TonyBet! No clowns there – I promise you. What the hell is he doing at the moment calling everyone out? Jungleman has turned into tarzan beating his chest! Didn’t we have a staking deal Jungle? What happened with all that – you vanished? Where’s Jane? I was going to put you into the WSOPE high-roller and you were in a hostel? What is going on? You used me and my good nature… global warming has clearly had an effect on the jungle.

As for the others in the event I am ready – I have been honing my skills at Leon’s King Casino in Rozvadov and in Minsk. I am hungry. We are surging forward with Tonybet.com!

And that is not all! I have more good news for you all coming in the next few days.

I’m on my way to the PartyPoker Premier League in London after I leave Austria. I’m in the mountains now, getting fit to go wage a full attack on the ‘Elite Group’ at the Premier League VI. So far the line-up looks extremely juicy: Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Negreanu, Antonio Esfandiari, Jennifer Tilly, Phil Laak, Dan “Jungleman” Cates, Scott Seiver, Marvin Rettenmaier, Dan Shak, and Luke Schwartz. Come on little fishies, swim, swim, swim.

I’ve been to Minsk and played the German High Roller cash game in Rozvadov since my last post. Even though I lost the biggest pot ever, I still clipped their fins and beat the German High Roller cash game by simply playing great. If Phil Hellmuth can brag about his poker skills, so can I and that’s how the German High Roller came down – The G came, The G played, and The G conquered.

The game in Minsk smiled on me and I left with just under a 500K USD win. I am going to organize a massive tournament and cash game series in Minsk in August. The tournament series will be open to everyone. Please bring lots of cash and I’ll supply the fish food. It’s going to be held in Casino XO Belarus is an amazing place and the perfect place to have a tournament series. It’s clean and safe and the very best poker action in the whole world pulls it all together in one big explosion of chips and cards.

I am hoping to partner up with 888poker to launch the poker tournament series in Minsk. Yes, that means I am looking for an online partner – but no matter how it comes down, this tournament will run.

I’ll be in the Premier League on March 16th but you might find me playing on newly re-launched PoolStars while I’m getting ready for London. The tournament and cash games in August in Minsk will have a seat for you, consider it an open invitation. I’ll keep you posted.

I went back to King’s Casino to play more Pot Limit Omaha with Leon Tsoukernik – owner of Kings and my friend. A little over a week ago when I left Leon, he was swimming in his lake to get in shape for my next massive action attack on his chip stronghold. If you read my last blog post, you know that I managed to slide out on thin ice, grab the chips, and make it back to the jet that was waiting to take off – and do it with a profit after being buried under a glacier.

Note to Self: Leon can bury you even before you knew the hole was being dug.

I love playing poker with Leon but he is a very tough player. We started small with 1k-2k blinds and I was down just over 100K. The more I watch him play, the more I believe he isn’t creating very much value for me to play him heads-up anymore. Leon has killed nearly every top German pro in heads-up action over here in the last few months. His game has continued to improve and that’s not a good thing for me since I feed on intense action with a chance to score big. Go back to the lake Leon, chill, and we’ll talk about it when you come out.

The German High Roller is waiting; I’ll play it and then head to Minsk for the very serious, juicy poker action taking place this week.

My last three-day trip to Kings Club, the best casino in Europe, has popped into my thoughts in sketches and replays. I wanted to add something to my last blog post just to keep the juices flowing and keep the fire to compete at the table burning hot in my own mind. Poker is like any other sport, take a long break and you get rusty, get rusty and you get busted, and I refuse to go there.

While playing heads-up in 2K-4K Euro on the first day at Kings Club, I closed out the session with a loss of 500K. That was also the beginning of the 10K High Roller Rebuy event where I got so tired I just walked away on day 2 and blinded out. More on that here. I get so bored, sometimes I should just stake people to these events and then cheer them on to a win instead of putting myself through grinding a tournament. The winner of the High Roller took it down for the third time in a row and picked up another 155K – it’s the best value 10K event in the world with more fish than the Baltic Sea.

I didn’t even show up for day 2 of the 10K High Roller Rebuy event and just let my average stack get blinded off. Day 2 was also Valentines Day and my big heart and all the commitment in the world told me to take a day off, rest up, spend time with my GF, and just ignore the 20K Euro that I burned through in the High Roller, so I did. I’m not promoting walking away from a tournament and letting my investment fly out the window, but when I’m burned out, I can’t get there mentally and my game has no fire in it then.

On my last day at Kings Club I jumped back in the game with Leon. I was down another 1M almost before my butt hit the chair – that’s how it felt anyway. I got the stakes jacked up to 5K-10K and the game was crazy. The last few minutes of the game ran out like a scene in a movie. I was down 1.5M total and with the driver waiting to take me to the airport, I had 20 minutes to make or break myself with cards and chips flying through the air.

In the final hand I held A-A and we got it all in pre flop for a 1.85M pot. It was a sick comeback. I ended up 300K winner for the trip.

Leon went to his lake for a cold plunge to prepare for my next trip.

I’ll be back at Kings Club on the 25th of February and plan on playing in the German High Roller on the 26th.

Keep swimming Leon, I’ll be back.

Then I’m off to play in the PartyPoker Premier League in London on the 16th of March. Stop by if you’re in town, it’s going to be fun.

Yes, the head donkey that has a resort and a dog that can smell out a poker rat at the bottom of the ocean just finished up playing in the King’s Casino Rozvadov poker room. The resort is Tony Resort and the dog is Nordas, guess who the donkey is. Who can live without their dog and a resort to keep him in? Even donkeys need a retreat and a dog that doesn’t know their master is a donkey.

I was twisted up in a massive heads-up battle over the last 72 hours; and in the middle of that, I was in a $10K buy-in heads-up battle in a rebuy high roller event. I played the $10K and had one rebuy with close to average chips for Day 2.

But it was Valentines Day! The day you’re supposed to put your heart in a bouquet and hand it to someone special over a candlelit meal and a glass of wine that would please a king’s palette. I was so tired after playing all night that I decided to take a day off from playing poker and rest and come back to win back some of my losses from the night before where I dropped 500K Euro playing $2K-$4K PLO with Leon.

So…I just let my average stack blind out in the high roller event and I was out the door to rest and have a good time with me GF.

A night of rest, a great day enjoying Cupid’s arrows, and time away from the game, sent me back out to play heads-up today. It worked! I got stuck over 1M!

We jacked up the stakes to 5K-10K in the end and it was a super juicy, big, nice game. I admit my game has been pretty horrible and I’m ashamed. I’m donning my donkey feedbag as I write. Somehow, someway, in the last 15 minutes of play – as my private jet was waiting to fly me out – I went on a truly sick run. My last 100K magically changed into 1.85M Euro and I boarded my plane with a win of over 300K for the trip.

HOT TIP: Let your 10K rebuy events blind out if you are tired; save your energy for the comeback.

Be advised that my feedbag isn’t always visible, watch your chips and play the game when we meet at the table because I’m playing to win everything you have, including your feedbag.

It’s been awhile, I’ve been a very, very, very busy person. But it’s time to catch up. I’m on my way to King’s Casino Rozvadov on the Bavarian/Czech border tonight. It’s all about the game, there’s an exceptional high roller cash game going on and that’s what gets my juices flowing and kicks up the excitement in The G. Nordas drools in front of a freshly cooked Tony G steak but he can’t compare to the salivating I’m capable of when I know there’s big cash action and the potential to play heads-up. I’m going to stay a few days, maybe longer, feast on great food, play high-stakes cash games, and watch my bets on Real Madrid come home tonight.

I’ve been enjoying life at Tony Resort and I’m trying to ease myself back into playing more poker recently. The Resort keeps me busy and away from poker traveling but I don’t miss the big poker festivals at Leon’s place because King’s Casino is the best card room in Europe and I see it as being put up in a castle for a few days. Take warning: Don’t touch my blinds! If you try to touch my castle, I’ll fire on you and you’ll never cross the moat! Old memories die hard…these guys in Denmark once offered me a castle to live in but their promise didn’t hold water (they must’ve used it for the moat).

If you follow The G, you know that I live in my own resort and the only appeal for a retreat would be a castle, especially if it’s stocked with a high-stakes cash game.

You know about my sports’ betting tips, right? A lot of you ask and I was so focused on the Super Bowl that I forgot to put them up on Twitter and Facebook.

I backed the Ravens all the way so it’s all good but in this Madrid V Man United Champions League match, I am basically betting Madrid not to lose and consistently betting against United. Last night I had the pleasure of playing poker with a lot of the Man United players from last year – they’re all great lads – but Mourinho and the Bernabeu, plus Ronaldo’s current form tells me I am guaranteed to win a fortune…I know where my money is.

Get the best odds now at Tonybet.com and if you aren’t happy with the odds, send me a message and I will find out why.

Time for the big cash game, the drool is getting on the keyboard.

When I first arrived in the Olympic Village in London, I was so tired I couldn’t put 2+2 together and get a Forum so it was time to sleep. I marched in the opening ceremony with Lithuania as the Lithuanian Olympic attaché and also the basketball team manager for Lithuania. I can’t describe that, being there, feeling it, living it, it was a dream and it came true.

I was excited (I still am over my team and everything they put into being a champion – they have heart, heart, heart, heart) and I planned to do this one time in my life, yes, take the Lithuanian Basketball team to the Olympics, and then to move on and look for new challenges.

Tony G Qualifying His Team

Playing the World Poker Tour Cyprus wasn’t even a question when I found out my team was going to the Olympics but I will play Paris, make your travel plans now and meet me there!

I stayed in the Olympic Village and many people recognized me. If they hadn’t, would they ask me if poker was an Olympic sport? The Olympic Village is like stepping into a completely different world and my two years of being involved with Lithuanian basketball is what brought me here, I’m proud to be Lithuanian.

I had breakfast with Ruta Meilutyte, and it was amazing to sit by a 15-year-old Lithuanian swimming superstar. I bumped into Greeks in East London that wanted to take me on – is there a rumor going around that I’m easy? I declined each attempt because the only reason I was there was for my team, Lithuania’s men’s basketball team.

We played the U.S. team on Saturday. The U.S. didn’t count on all the heart the Lithuanian Basketball team has and it almost cost them.

I went right to Twitter: “i am so proud – great effort – we nearly did it. #Lithuania #heart”

Off the subject of the Olympics, I love the Tony Betties and here they are with a little Cheer Up to keep you in form for the day. Like them on FB.

Start playing and get your seat locked up for the WPT Paris, I’ll see you there!

UPDATE – August 5th, 2012:

I’ve been spending lots of time with Ruta Meilutyte. This little lady is just 15 years old and a Gold medalist. She is an amazing inspiration for all small countries, and people around the world, that anyone can do it. If you have the hart and commitment, you can do it. And she has!

I was on the bench a few days ago when team USA took on the mighty Lithuania. It was so so close, just 5 points in the end, and what a great, great game it was. I am so proud to be part of team Lithuania!

I do plan to get back to poker after this Olympics, although it’s been an amazing time in my life, I know that poker is more for me, I love the game of poker and the spirit of competition that goes with it too. I am very glad I could help my team from Lithuania in any way possible although being the attache for Lithuania has been a lot of work, it’s fun and I am loving it! It’s great to do as many things in life as possible and this is something I would have a hard time describing to anyone that hasn’t been there.

Today I was at the track and field and saw Usain Bolt live; that was worth the effort to get to the ground. As the attache I can go anywhere I like, that is one of the great privileges of being part of the games.

Follow my Twitter and Facebook pages, and come back for more news soon. I’m a poker playing, Lithuanian Basketball Men’s Team attache and I’m loose in London. Try to keep up!

Today will find me leaving Lithuania for Prague. I’m on my way to the Kings Casino to play the $25K High Roller. There are plans for a streaming live cash game and that is one of my favorites in poker.

I returned to Lithuania recently from Minsk, Belarus and the big game I’ve been playing. The game is indescribable really; the chips are rolling across the floor, up the walls and across the ceiling, and just waiting to be scooped up. The pots in PLO are so big you need pole vaulting skills to get over them and a bulldozer to scrape them into your stack.

I love poker!!! It seems like the biggest games in the world are in Minsk right now. It’s really a very incredible place, very fun, as well as very safe. The night life is some of the best in the world and great night clubs put it all together. And when I’m not in a poker game, I am the night life. It is never too late to stop doing everything and PARTY! Find me if you want to do it right.

When I was in Minsk, I stayed at the Hotel Europa. And when I checked in, I saw Andy Beal’s Ferrari with Florida plates. It’s very nice to see Andy in Minsk nowadays.

Prague and poker, I’m on my way!

I got rolled out of the €100,000 Super High Roller at the 2012 PokerStars and Monte-Carlo Casino EPT Grand Final. I made it to day 2 and was in 10th place in the chip counts with 442,000. It was a great turn out with over 40 players and some rebuys.

I had K-K dealt to me three hands in a row. Has anyone ever had that happen to them before? I was seeing clearly when I threw them away before the flop.

I had about a half a million in chips when I picked up K-K and open raised before the flop. Patrik Antonius made the call. Justin Bonomo put in a raise from the button to over 40,000. I four bet to 114,000 and after Antonius folded, Bonomo moved all-in for somewhere close to 400,000. I turned up two red kings and folded them. I find myself watching a pair of kings ride a bike down a very steep hill and crashing at the bottom. The bike survives the crash.

The hand that took me out of the tournament was A-Q. Dan Shak raised and I reraised from the small blind. Shak had me covered and held pocket Jacks. The flop was not on my side when it gave me top two pair and Shak a set. The turn even brought one more out, a possible split pot when a 10 hit. But the river paired the wrong card, another 10 fell. I was gone, gone, gone. I went to look for a bike to ride down the hill and run over the broken pieces of kings. There were no bikes!!!

I felt in my heart that Bonomo had A-A. It’s hard and painful but it is life and it’s easy to think what may have been but I have to go with how I felt at the time. I hope to find out what he had.

Maybe players feel it takes guts to make big calls but I also think it takes ‘huge hart’ to make huge lay downs. I feel that my game needs improving and I hope in the future I will have a lot more time to just focus on poker and play the very best players. I really enjoyed the event.

Now I’m on a break for a few days. I just landed in Frankfurt and I’m on my way to Vilnius where I have a few meetings. Over the weekend I will be looking to hit the big game in Minsk, Belarus. There are big cash games over there right now.

In early May I plan on being in Prague to play at the Kings Casino. There are plans for a streaming live cash game, plus they are doing a 25K high roller there too on the 7th of May.

Then I’ll be in Las Vegas in time for Bellagio’s 100K and the 25K.

Aside from poker I’m launching Tony Betties – I’m looking for talent and we’ll have auditions at the Tony Resort – watch the official video:

Catch me on Twitter for daily updates.

Sitting in Frankfurt waiting for K-K…

I am in Vienna playing PLO games. The action is great and I’ve been playing well and winning. I love PLO. When I am finished tormenting and punishing everyone I meet at the poker tables here, I will go to Croatia for a week and play tennis.

Tennis is going to be part of my getting fit and in shape, a Tony G promotion I have created for myself. People should do that more often, create a promotion just for themselves. It could be any manner of things you want to do to improve your life or take you out of a hole that you have fallen into on your way down, like Phil Hellmuth, he needs to create a PHI-MUTH program.

Phil, you understand the need, right? You are lost and it shows. You didn’t make it to the Premier League or The Big Game.

Enough about Phil.

I will be in Monte Carlo on the 22nd of April and ready to play in the first ever European Super High Roller event that has a €100,000 (about $131,500) buy-in. This looks like the line-up for the game so far:

Daniel Negreanu
Eugene Katchalov
Jason Mercier
Scott Seiver
David Sands
Dan Shak
Artem Evgenievich Litvinov
Leon Tsoukernik
Tobias Reinkemeier
Viktor ‘Isildur1′ Blom
Masa Kagawa
Patrik Antonius
Jason Somerville
Sorel Mizzi
Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier
Jonathan Duhamel
Dan Smith

I have been very busy with TonyBet. Soon we hope to have a live game (like The Big Game) on PokerNews and have live betting on the side with TonyBet providing the lines for the betting. Look for more news on that soon.

Join me on Facebook for some fun with naming this picture:
