All Gay’d Out and Laughing

by Tony G on October 21, 2010

Sometimes in life you get dealt a bad hand, but you play it anyway, and then you get an opportunity to change the hand. You have to have heart and commitment and the street confidence to just ask someone for that missing Ace. Ask Vifer, he’s a very willing candidate. Please, Vifer, just give me that Ace. I had the heart and commitment and the confidence and I deserve my Broadway.

I’ve been taking a look at this thread on 2+2. It’s gay! Oh wait, that’s me, I’m gay according to some of the posters. My response is: WHO THE FUCK CARES if you think I’m gay? I don’t care! Maybe you should tell your buddy sitting there huddling next to you when you fire up the threads on 2+2, maybe he cares.

I do care about Elizabeth and anyone picking on her is beyond the level of low life and your diatribe against her makes you my enemy. I don’t want people to attack Elizabeth. She is special and I took her and her sister Vic to the best club in Vegas and got the best table the “G” could get. We had a great time and it’s probably beyond the understanding of some of you low lifes but perhaps one day you will figure it out when you get a real life. Elizabeth made it in life and for her to be attacked is just beyond low and her willingness to continue posting on the 2+2 forum and answer your questions speaks very well of her character and intentions.

One day I will visit her and I will visit her nephew, or better yet, I might get them to fly in and visit me when I’m in Vegas mowing down the bloody Hellmuth again or that silly Vifer who I destroy and own. In fact, I own them all, so attack me and not my friend Elizabeth.

I love the 2+2 community! No, really. I love for people to have a crack at me as I’m just a donk off the streets that got lucky and I’m no one to look up too, but I will come after all the low lifes that attack my friend.

One thing I have learned in my many years on this planet: When people emphatically tell you they don’t care, they do. Take that to the bank 100% of the time G.

Haters gonna hate.

Just popped thru to mention how much I’m enjoying you on TBG this week.

You’re a man after mine own heart.

I agree Tony. Some of the comments have been over the top, but I’m sure Elizabeth will hold her head high especially with your support. You have been fantastic on The Big Game and probably ensured yourself a seat on High Stakes Poker if that’s what you want. Bad luck about St Kilda, I sure hope they can go all the way one year.

I just wanted to reply to say that the vast majority of 2+2ers think you’re great and have nothing but respect for Elizabeth. There are a just a few lowlifes out there that like running people down for no reason, but most of us don’t feel that way at all.

Maybe Tony G is gay, who knows. He doesn’t deny it. But who cares, gay or not the poker is what matters, as long as thats decent and entertaining.

For the Elizabeth much respect to her, she played very hard table and took it with her head high.

I think people bash her because of you. I think when you talk bad about other people they will talk bad about you and dear to you people. You know why ? Because every one of those who you spoke badly have families too, and your words hurt those people. Same way as other people words about Elizabeth hurt you.

I am not judging you just pointing something to think about…

Either way I would like to see you more on big games, I like the way you play!

Yo Tony. Whats up G? Heard You were staking that isildur guy…Stake me 3k to play sit n gos and 2/5 nl cash games. I just turned 24 this month but I been playing poker since 20. In Waco, Tx they have a .25/.50 cash game, $20/$50 tournaments, and freerolls i consistently win. Ive played online at full tilt awhile ago with a $20 bankroll and built to $360. Anyways, Once i make 15k off that 3k. 6k goes to you and 9k to me. Or you can stake me for a big tournament and see how I play…gotta dream big. lol. peace

Loved watching you on week 9 of the big game, couldn’t stop laughing at your antics.

One last thing Elizabeth seems really nice, but if you wanted to be more than friends you went about it the wrong way.

Anyway your my new fav pro!

Hey Tony G,
Just watched the last two episodes of this weeks TBG.. I have loved watching you play since I first saw you on a WPT european event years ago.. you are good for the game of poker, because some of these pros take themselves way to seriously and lose the perspective of what a great life you guys lead. It was especially fun to watch this week as you, Daniel and Joe are three of my top five favorite players. Keep giving them hell. Also, it seemed to me you were trying to set Elizabeth up for a reraise opportunity to push everyone out of the pot and take down big pots without a showdown. Nice try, the fact that she didn’t do it shows there was no collusion going on.. seems like you wanted to help her out… Keep being yourself, cause you are a lot of fun to watch.

Haters gonna hate. Anyway, Tony G and Viffer are the best thing on televised poker. Also I like to watch Phil H. getting angry :)

Hey tony, Not sure if you even read these and this probably wont get posted. your antics with andrew robl were ridiculous man. you supposed to be a pro, so you should act like one. Its great that these clueless guys think its hilarious that you act like such an idiot on TV even when your not in a hand. I realize you play a huge part in the growth of the game but you were a disgrace to the game that night, yet again.

Tony G is the best thing on TV right now.

Of course, you always could watch Chris Ferguson play Patrick Antonious HU for 2 hours. I’d rather wash my hair.

I just watched an episode of the big game (loose cannon) and I would like to enlighten and ask tony about a hand that he was invovled in with jason mercier.
Tony called jasons bet on the river with ace high.
Jason says without showing his hand “u win”, tony asked to see his hand and was acused of bad etiquette,
I agree with tony he paid to see, he is entitled.
Now what if after jason conceeded tony decided not to show his hand and scoop the pot?
I ask this becuase on an episode of poker after dark that is exactly what happened with Robert Belange and he did that and this issue came up and guess what? phill hellmuth was involved in the discussion (not sure if in the hand).
Robert didnt want to show if the other player didnt show. he paid and they conceeded so he took it but i cant remember if he ended up showing his hand or not, it was poker after dark trash talkers week,
I think tony’ shoudl have done the same or instead of showing his ace high first then scooping, he should of paid and waited for jason to turn his hand over first then take the pot.
What is proper etiquette in this case?

Tony G is a fun guy to watch at a table the same way u like to watch a clown in the circus…just an uneducated donk that never achieved anything in poker , and wins in a session with the donkiest loose cannon ever and acts like he is ivey….learn some manners cause if u yelled at me like u yelled at Robl ud have eaten all the words straight up…if u want respect give respect 1st…and the bottom line of this is, ure made fun by all top pros they all faceroll u…tho i love your presence at the table u just lost all the respect i have from u when u attcked Robl that is entitled to play as he wants and is a super educated guy

Joao November 6, 2010 at 2:31 am

one more thing..1st time and last i came to your blog, cause as he can see by comments like the Jimmy G made, the fans u have are at same lvl of class and poker knowledge as u…i thought after ure 1st presences at the big game that u had changed and u were focus in play better and not being a wannabe with a big mouth..actually i think u were right in several discussions with helmuth about the time he takes to act, but afterall u keep being an uneducated donk that thinks money gives u the right to treat ppl like trash…ure just a sad sample of a human being

joe November 10, 2010 at 7:04 pm

You dont call the clock in a cash game EVER but idiots like tony G do but thats because hes an uneducated muppet , the problem is hes a lame excuse for a poker pro and wouldnt know poker etiquette if it ran him over , but what can u expect from a gauy that that has zero class and no poker skills .
Luv the gay comment its so true ,and your right about the hair rofl i think his mommy knitted it for him , but since he is confirmed gay is probably the reason he just says bugger it ( pardon the pun )ill just dress gay anyways.
And to all the folk here that actually think tony g is an ok guy , well its clear how intelligent you all are lol .

You can be headstrong at times but I think you’re misunderstood. Where you’ve got to just by playing poker; you must ‘pinch yourself’ almost every day. Your sexuality is your own business and nobody else’s; the fact is, you have a good heart, but you’ve had a bad press. When I read recently you gave half of the $451,700 for winning on the Asian Poker Tour in Singapore in 2006 to Asian & Australian charities; and all of the $205,000 you won in 2007 to Russian orphanages; my opinion of you went up dramatically, Antanas. You’re a great man!

Maybe it’s pms, but i actually got a little teary when Elizabeth busted out. How can you not root for someone playing from their heart and for something so personal? I thought it was very classy of you to walk her out. And I think Robl got the brunt of your frustration. It happens, you’re human. Yoga is a great way to find your center. I’ve had a string of frustrating events, and it really helps to put things in perspective. Good luck, I love watching you play. Makes me smile :)

You can be a good poker player. You can win all the money in the world at poker. You can donate tons of money to charity. None of it can buy class Tony, something that you are lacking. You showed that by attacking Robl which was a second grade act on your part. Nancy throwing a hissyfit. And you should stop talking about “ugly” poker hands – Mr. Pasty Chipmonk Face. Take some of that money and buy a mirror and uh, get a decent haircut.

I loved watching you on the Big Game Tony !

You are a BULL of a man with lots of testosterone and its good to see that sometimes.

Though Poker was the reason I watch the show –to see you so gentle with Elizabeth really showed a softer side of ya. I hope you do and continue to do everything you can for her and her family here in the states…HELL –take her to New Zealand and ride bikes………I still think when you return you’ll be even BETTER at kickin’ ass !!!

As a real woman who loved poker and even more so—- real men —GOD BLESS YA !!!!!!!

I will be a fan of yours forever !!!!
