TJ Brings Tony G to the Crown

by Tony G on January 23, 2011

Who’s leading who? Lynn Gilmarten, Tony, and TJ highlight the day with TJ barking to Tony’s signal. TJ rolls over for the camera and Tony says TJ is coming in today to see if he can smell any weakness – and a few weak players will be intimidated. Tony says TJ has been practicing poker and he’s got a lot of toys and tools with him. TJ’s having a look around at everyone and sporting his own stylish bling and Tony says he believes TJ could be the first dog to play a poker tournament.

Watch the video for more fun with Tony and TJ. Will he attack a player? Tony or TJ? Let’s bet TJ remains calm while Tony attacks with his chip stacks on the weak and intimidated.

“Circus comes to Town” would have been a more appropriate heading.

A couple of my mates and I were in the Crown Studio 3 when this circus came to town. The only thing that could have been lower than all the publicity that he created for himself through his own PokerNews network would have to be seeing him unsuccessfully attempting to get the mut to bark at the table of a $100K event while a hand was being played out. Thank god for the trainer that was on hand to step in when it didn’t respond to Tony’s signals.

Intimidation in Poker is acceptable and worked for Tony before with Zasko. Pity that this time around, his plot failed and TJ smelled Tony’s weakness.

We flew down to Melbourne to see some of the world’s most strategic poker players in action not cheap publicity. Next time Tony, let us know what you intend on doing and we will pass. Fail.

This is my 2 bob’s worth.
